Tigirlily to host virtual concert to benefit Great Plains Food Bank

FARGO – Nashville-based country music duo and North Dakota natives Tigirlily will play a virtual concert via Facebook Live to benefit the Great Plains Food Bank on Thursday at 7 p.m.

The latest in a series of virtual concerts to benefit the Great Plains Food Bank during the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be available on the Facebook pages for both Tigirlily (@Tigirlily) and the Great Plains Food Bank (@greatplainsfoodbank).

The sister-duo, originally from Hazen, will take song requests and interact with the audience through comments while also helping to raise money to benefit those struggling with food insecurity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now it its 38th year, the Great Plains Food Bank serves as North Dakota’s only food bank. Its partner network includes 213 food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and other charitable feeding programs operating in 99 communities across N.D. and Clay County, Minn.
