Terrance Eaton sentenced to three years for sex with 17-year-old girl
Terrance Lamar Eaton, 37, Minot, was sentenced on Tuesday to five years in prison, with a requirement that he serve three years, and five years of supervised probation for having sex with a 17-year-old runaway girl in Minot in October 2018.
Eaton pleaded guilty to the Class C felony corruption of a minor charge in November 2019 and he was sentenced Tuesday.
Court records show that Eaton will receive credit for 150 days already served at the Ward County Jail and 21 days for good behavior.
North Central District Court Judge Gary Lee also ordered Eaton to have no contact with the victim, to undergo a sex offender evaluation and follow through with any recommended treatment and to register as a sex offender.
