A 51-year-old Stanley man was killed on Wednesday evening when his truck ran off the roadway, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Franklin Sessions Jr. suffered a “medical incident” while driving south on Highway 85 15 miles southwest of Alamo, according to the Patrol. His Kenworth drifted off the roadway, entered the east ditch, vaulted over a field approach, drove over a berm and continued through the field until stopping on a prairie trail. Sessions was unresponsive at the scene. He was taken by ambulance to a Williston hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The accident happened at 6:20 p.m.
