Jesse Ray Rittenbach, 38, Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with Class C felony possession of a stolen trailer.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, a Minot police officer notified the Ward County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday that he had located a trailer at Rittenbach’s address in the 1500 block of Wildwood Avenue that matched one that had been reported stolen earlier.

Rittenbach allegedly admitted to taking the trailer from southeast Minot and to using it to haul multiple vehicles from the Mohall area.

The trailer has an estimated value of $5,475. A tire was damaged and the trailer was missing lug nuts, estimated to cost about $140.
