Omar Cespedes, New Town, charged with making bomb threat to convenience store
A preliminary hearing is scheduled Thursday in district court in Stanley for Omar Elias Cespedes, 37, New Town, who is accused of calling in a bomb threat to a New Town Cenex store on Nov. 10.
Cespedes is charged with Class C felony terrorizing.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, a male called the store and said “there’s a bomb in the store.” The phone number belonged to Cespedes.
The store was evacuated and was checked out by authorities. No bomb was found.
