Girl Scouts Cookie University to be held at Minot State
Girl Scouts-Dakota Horizons will kick off the 2020 Cookie Program with Cookie University at Minot State University on Saturday from 1-4 p.m.
This is an opportunity for girls in kindergarten through grade 12 to prepare for their cookie sale and graduate from Cookie University.
The financial literacy program uses age-appropriate curriculum to introduce Girl Scouts to the five skills: money management, decision making, goal setting, people skills and business ethics they learn when participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, which runs from Feb. 21 to March 23.
The event kicks off with a Cookie Rally before Girl Scouts attend classes, led by Minot State University students, to learn about the cookie program, earn Cookie Business Badges, share ideas and sample the cookie product – including the new Lemon-Ups cookie premiering this year.
