The Magic City Discovery Center in Minot will celebrate the new year at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31, so children don’t have to stay up until midnight.

The center’s 4th Annual Noon Year’s Eve event will be from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Swain Hall on the Minot State University campus. A big balloon drop will take place at noon.

STEAM activities, games and Chloe Marie Music will be part of the event.

Cost is $6 per person and $18 family max. No charge for those under 12 months. Those attending can pay at the door.
