Tina Timm graduated on Nov. 8 in the top 10 percent of 800 attendees at basic training at Lackland Air Force Base at San Antonio, earning a 98% in physical training and a 95% in the educational testing. This earned her the rank of airman first class.

The daughter of Robert and Carol Timm of Minot, she is a 2017 graduate of Minot High School with four years of Jr. AF ROTC.

She is now off to Gulfport, Mississippi, for her 18 weeks of technical training as an engineer.

She is a member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard. After her 18 weeks of technical training, she will return to the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where she made the Dean’s list the two semesters prior to her military education.
