Patrick Fennell, Minot, charged with breaking into motor vehicle
Patrick Nathan Fennell, 31, Minot, is accused of breaking into a car parked at Minot High School-Magic City Campus on Saturday evening and then of giving police his brother’s name instead of his own when he was arrested.
Fennell is charged in district court in Minot with Class C felony unlawful entry into a motor vehicle to commit a crime and Class A misdemeanor providing false information to law enforcement.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the alleged victim saw Fennell sitting in her vehicle and immediately called police. She saw him get out of the vehicle and begin looking at the items inside. Fennell denied that he took anything from the vehicle.
Fennell was scheduled to make an initial appearance in district court in Minot on Tuesday before Judge Gary Lee.
