Ashley Borstad, Minot, charged with intent to deliver methamphetamine

Ashley Alexis Borstad, 33, Minot, is charged with Class B felony intent to deliver methamphetamine last Friday in Minot. She made an initial appearance on the felony charge on Monday in district court in Minot before Judge Richard Hagar.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, an agent with the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation obtained a warrant for a FedEx package that was addressed to Borstad at 1506 Terrace Drive, Apt. D. The package contained an ounce of marijuana and an ounce of methamphetamine. The Ward County Narcotics Task Force later delivered the package to Borstad at that address and she accepted it. A search of Borstad’s residence later turned up the package, its contents, and two marijuana pipes.
