An AARP Smart Driver course will take place Friday, Oct. 25, at the Friendly Senior Citizens of Burlington at 1 p.m. Friendly Senior Citizens of Burlington is located at 19 Colton Avenue.

Learn research-based safety strategies to help keep drivers safe while on the road. After taking the course, drivers may be eligible for multi-year discounts on car insurance.

The course is offered by Bonita Frederick. Space is limited and spots can be reserved by calling 440-8511. The classroom cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers.

Another course will be offered Nov. 6 at the Parker Senior Center in downtown Minot. The Nov. 6 class will start at 10 a.m. To register for the Minot class, call 852-0561.
