NJ man injured in motorcycle-pickup crash
WILLISTON – A Jefferson, N.J., man was injured in a motorcycle-pickup crash four miles north of Williston on Monday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports Dustin Cerruti, 29, was going north on 134th Avenue NW at an unknown speed and Thomas Leimback, 44, of Sheridan, Wyo., driving a 2014 Ram 2500 pickup was going south on 134th Avenue NW. Leimback, who was in process of turning east onto 53rd Lane NW, said he didn’t see the motorcycle until just before impact. He said the motorcycle appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle struck Leimback’s pickup, coming to rest on its side in the southbound lane. Cerruti was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious non-life- threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet. Leimback was not injured.
