Eloise Ogden/MDN Five of the planes of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds aerial demonstration team land in Minot on Tuesday evening. The rest of the planes will be coming to Minot today. The Snowbirds are the headliners for “The Spirit of the Plains Air Show,” a free event being held at the Minot International Airport on July 4 beginning at 4 p.m. Tonight a “Meet the Pilots” event will be held from 6-9 p.m. at the Dakota Territory Air Museum in Minot. The Snowbirds team and other pilots in the air show will be there, and the event is open to the public. Cost is museum admission.
