Ashton Gerard/MDN N.D. AmVets honored those who served in the military from 1955 to 1975 in celebration of the 50th Commemoration of the Vietnam War. Their float included the names of 198 fallen or Missing in Action from North Dakota during the war.

Ashton Gerard/MDN Minot Y’s Men’s Rodeo brought horses to the street for spectators to enjoy. Miss Rodeo Callee Jo Schmidt smiles and waves to the crowd while trotting down Burdick Expressway. The state parade led to the North Dakota State Fairgounds.
