Kyler Kaylor, Minot, sentenced for possession of stolen snowmobiles
Kyler James Kaylor, 21, Granville, will serve about two years in prison for being in possession of three stolen Ski-doo snowmobiles and a snowmobile trailer in October.
Court records show that Judge Richard Hagar sentenced Kaylor to a total of five years in prison, with a requirement that he serve two years, and three years of supervised probation. Kaylor will receive credit for 90 days already served in jail. Hagar also ordered Kaylor to pay $11,104.21 in restitution and $1,350 in court costs.
The state dismissed other charges, including C felony possession of methamphetamine, A misdemeanor false information to law enforcement, and B misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
A possession of stolen property charge was dismissed last November against Ashley Alexis Fisher, who had been charged as a co-defendant.
