Shane Schestler, Velva, charged with stealing vehicle, forgery

Shane Mackenzie Schestler, 31, Velva, is accused of stealing a 2007 Chevy Silverado Duramax that belonged to his one-time boss and forging the man's name on a bill of sale and registering the vehicle in his own name.

Schestler is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony theft and Class B felony forgery. He was scheduled to make an initial apperance in court on Wednesday.
