Flag retirement ceremonies

The flag retirement ceremony is an official ceremony performed to properly dispose of the flag. The VFW Color Guard and about 20 airmen from Minot AFB participated in the ceremony.

Twelve veterans and Hoelscher, a spouse, presented flags representing the 13 folds of the flag. Richard Reuer, of the American Legion Post, was master of ceremonies.
