Terry Lee Beaver Jr., 19, of Detroit, Mich., was sentenced last week in district court in Minot to a year in jail, all suspended but the 35 days he has already served, for two counts of Class B felony delivery of oxycodone in April.

Beaver will also be on supervised probation for three years.

In addition, he was ordered to pay $775 in court costs and forfeit the iPhone that was seized when he was arrested.

The $1,585 used by the Ward County Narcotics Task Force to purchase the oxycodone is to be returned to them. In addition, Beaver was in possession of $11,625 when he was arrested. Some $5,812.50 of that money will be forfeited to the Ward County Narcotics Task Force, $5,037.50 will be sent to his lawyer, and $775 will go to the clerk of court for payment of fines and fees.

According to court documents, Beaver sold the oxycodone on two different occasions to a Ward County Narcotics Task Force officer in the parking lot at the Super 8 Motel in Minot.
