Minot police announced Saturday night the arrest of 28-year-old Christopher Vickerman, who is accused of shooting to death his father, Mark Vickerman, 55, of Minot.

The body of the elder Vickerman was found Friday at a residence in northwest Minot.

Police did not offer a possible motive in the shooting and say the case is still under investigation. An autopsy is scheduled this week in Bismarck.

Christopher Vickerman is charged with Class AA felony murder and is being held in the Ward County Jail in Minot.
