The Cobblestone showcase will be senior portraits done by Ostreim. Some photos are from Ireland and others are boudoir photos, unique to Ostreim’s portfolio. The showcase will open with an opportunity to meet Ostreim on June 1 at 5 p.m. Her collection will be displayed through the month of June.

Ostreim has always loved taking photos. In 2011, she graduated with an AAS degree in graphic design before deciding to pursue a career in photography in 2013. Ostreim graduated in 2016 from DCB with an AAS degree in photography.

Ostreim spent two years photographing events and sports for DCB. The last three years she has been applying herself as a professional photographer.

Even though Ostreim specializes in senior portraits, she loves taking photos of whatever the subject may be. As the studio manager of DCB, she can share her passion for photography with students while also being the graphic designer and campus photographer.

Submitted Photos Dakota College of Bottineau alumnus, Leslie Ostreim, will be showcasing her photography at the Cobblestone Inn at Bottineau. Her pieces revolve around portraits of people and photos taken in Ireland.

Ostreim works to create a unique perception in her photographs. She captures her models’ unique personalities by using natural lighting outside and indoor studio lighting.

Leslie says she learning something new every day, “so my style never stays the same.”

“My new thing with seniors has been smoke bombs, or we come up with something creative that also showcases who they are,” she said.
