Gabriel Iglesias, Ricky Skaggs and Charley Pride to perform at Høstfest in 2019
Norsk Høstfest has unveiled the remaining three shows for the 2019 festival. Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, and Charley Pride with special guest ISMO will fill out this year’s lineup.
Iglesias, one of America’s most successful stand-up comedians, has performed to sold-out arenas around the world while Skaggs and Pride have been country music staples for decades with numerous hits on multiple music charts. ISMO, who is performing before Pride’s show, hails from Finland and has earned the title of “funniest man in the world.”
The three shows join already announced concerts featuring Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Chicago, Clint Black and The Texas Tenors, ventriloquist and celebrity impressionist Terry Fator, international Irish entertainer Daniel O’Donnell, and Chicks With Hits featuring country music favorites Terri Clark, Pam Tillis and Suzy Bogguss.
“We are excited for our 2019 lineup,” said David Reiten, president of Norsk Høstfest in a press release. “We have a nice variety of shows with something for everyone. Come and take in all the festivities Høstfest has to offer from Viking Village to the amazing food.”
North America’s largest Scandinavian festival begins Tuesday evening, Sept. 24, with the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame awards banquet and RV Pre-Party dinner and dance. A change for 2019 is opening hours. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday with access to everything the festival offers: food, shopping and entertainment.
In addition to Great Hall of the Vikings concert lineup, Høstfest typically features more than 100 daily concerts and shows on seven festival stages. General admission entertainment will include fan favorites like Williams & Ree, Mollie B and Neil Diamond Tribute Show. More will be announced on hostfest.com as it is booked.
