Submitted Photo This photo from Jonathan Calkins shows the fireball from exploding propane at the Trinity Hospital construction site Friday evening.

The city of Minot was rocked Friday evening with three major propane explosions and also reports of a fourth smaller explosion coming from the Trinity Medical Park construction site in southwest Minot.

Minot Fire Department told the Minot Daily News about the propane fire at 37th Avenue Southwest and that crews were on the scene evacuating residents and bystanders from the area. Minot Police Department had the road blocked at the intersection of 16th Street and 37th Avenue Southwest.

Trinity Health posted a statement on their Facebook page that they did not have any reports of injuries at this time.

The explosions and resulting fire at the site came just a day after a man fell while working on the steel structure of a building under construction Thursday.

The cause of the explosions remained unknown as of deadline Friday evening. More details will follow as they become available.
