Christopher Thomas Swiech, a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom from Minot, will be the guest speaker at the eighth annual Vietnam Veterans Celebration in the Grand Hotel, Minot, on March 29 from 5-7 p.m. The event is open to everyone.

Other taking part in the program, beginning at 5:15 p.m., include Louis “Mac” McLeod, a Vietnam veteran; Richard Reuer of the Minot American Legion Post No. 26, and Allison Schuetz, Minot Vet Center counselor.

The event’s closing will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a ceremonial flag folding by American Legion Post No. 26, and playing of “Taps.”

The event is hosted by the Minot Vet Center.
