Democrats make plans for 2020 caucus

The North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party has opened its 2020 Delegate Selection Plan for public comment.

The party’s presidential caucus will be held March 10, 2020, which is one week after Super Tuesday. It will be held firehouse style, where voters can cast a ballot at certain locations throughout the state.

Locations will be open in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck, Minot Wahpeton, Valley City, Jamestown, Devils Lake, Dickinson, Williston, MHA Nation, Spirit Lake, Turtle Mountain and Standing Rock.

The party also will run a vote by mail program from Jan. 20, 2020, to March 3, 2020.

The public has 30 days to make comments and suggestions on the plan. Comments can be submitted by email to people@demnpl.com.
