Shyanne Belzer/MDN Members of the Ward County Sheriff’s Department banded together to raise money for Trinity Cancer Care in Minot. Participants took a vow to not shave all month for No Shave November, paying $45 to do so. In total, around 20 different people from the deputies, Detention staff and Juvenile Detention staff took part in the event. The department and those involved presented Trinity with a check for $1,500 in the final days of the month. The money will go to the Patient Assistance Fund, which helps with a variety of patient needs including money for gas to attend appointments.
