Ward County hosts soil map review sessions
Agricultural landowners in Ward County are invited to provide input at one of a series of public meetings to be held in the coming week regarding a proposed soils map.
Over the past year, the Ward County Tax Equalization Office constructed a detailed land use map, which will be integrated with the National Resources Conservation Service’s soil maps to place a value in all agricultural land for tax purposes. Ward County will hold six mapping review sessions.
Sessions will be held today; Monday, Dec. 10; and Friday, Dec. 14; at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day in Suite 106 of the Ward County Administration Building in Minot.
