Skye Jordan Dakota Miller, 26, St. John, will serve about 18 months in jail and three years of supervised probation for fleeing from law enforcement in a vehicle on July 4 and later stealing and damaging an ATV that he drove over an embankment, dropping 15 to 20 feet, in Minot.

Under the terms of a plea deal, Miller was ordered to serve three years, with all suspended but the 18 months, to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation, and to pay court costs and restitution.

Several other charges against Miller were dismissed under the terms of the plea deal.

He will receive credit for 49 days already served in jail. The sentences are concurrent.
