Robert Hindman, Minot, charged with driving drunk with 2-year-old in the car
Robert Steven Hindman, 51, Minot, is accused of driving drunk with his 2-year-old son in the car on Tuesday evening.
Hindman is charged with a Class A misdemeanor in district court in Minot.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, a North Dakota Highway Patrol officer stopped Hindman’s vehicle on U.S. Highway 2 turn northbound onto 42nd Street SE in Minot because it had white light to the rear and expired registration tags. Hindman was slurring his speech and repeating himself. He had a .171 on a preliminary breath test. Hindman’s toddler was in the back seat of the vehicle. The child was released to the custody of his mother.
