Kyler James Kaylor, 20, Granville, and Ashley Alexis Fisher, 26, Minot, are charged with being in possession of three stolen Ski-doo snowmobiles and a stolen snowmobile trailer on Tuesday evening.
Both are charged with Class B felony theft in district court in Minot.

Fisher is also charged with Class A misdemeanor possession of meth.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court by Ward County Sheriff’s Sgt. Conrad Kossan, they were arrested following a traffic stop near County Road 10. Kossan was aware that six snowmobiles and two snowmobile trailers were stolen over the weekend in Minot. Kossan spotted Fisher driving a white 2005 GMC Yukon towing a red trailer with no tail lamps activated and stopped the vehicle. Kaylor, a passenger in the vehicle, gave the officer a relative’s name. Kaylor also has two outstanding arrest warrants out of McHenry County.
Kossan smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search turned up a baggie of marijuana in the vehicle. Kossan also found a baggie full of meth in Fisher’s purse.
