The F5 Project

Kim Fundingsland/MDN Adam Martin, Fargo, speaks to a gathering about the F5 Project, an organization founded by Martin to provide assistance and opportunities to individuals with a challenging past, such as convicted felons. Martin told a Tuesday afternoon gathering at Eagles Wings church in Minot that he is a recovering alcoholic with five felonies on his record. He has been sober for five years.The F5 Project opened their first Opportunity House in 2017 and is scheduled to open their eighth next month. One of the stated purposes of the program is that “one’s past should not dictate the potential of one’s future.”
