First Western Bank & Trust is excited to host Miss America Cara Mund as the 2018 North Dakota State Fair Parade grand marshal.

In September 2017 Mund made history by becoming the first woman from North Dakota to win the national title of Miss America. In her role as Miss America, Mund travels the country discussing the importance of political engagement, education and community service. She serves as the National Goodwill Ambassador for the Miss America Organization’s national platform partner, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Miss America will be at the main bank location at 900 S. Broadway on Friday, July 20 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m.

There will be a meet and greet with photo opportunities, giveaways for children, and Oscar’s Ice Cream Truck. Attendees can register for a grand prize giveaway. This event is free and open to the public.
