Nationally Federated Gold Cup Music Festival held

Recently the Nationally Federated Gold Cup Festival was held on the campus of Minot State University. There were 195 entrants in a total of eight events.

Earning small gold cups for their piano solos were Aubree Schepp of Berthold, Harrison Lies of Cathay, Grant Anderson and Maria Schmitz of Harvey, Kenna Aalund, Holden Gault, Cayden Gibbons, Trinity Jessen, Alena Johannsen, Emersyn Kopp, Julia Putt, Macy Smestad, Madison Solberg, and McKenna Solberg of Minot, Raegan Fitzsimmons, Devin Fowler, and Hannah Overby of Mohall, David Ellingson of Sherwood, Clayton Moen of Upham, and Kellan Henry of Westhope.

Earning small cups for their piano concerti were Victoria Hoverson and Madison Lyman of Minot.

In the hymn playing event, earning small cups, were Anne Schauer from Carpio and Zeke Hoverson of Minot.

Earning medium cups worth 30 or more points for piano solos were Therese Haberman of Bottineau, Audra Savelkoul of Lansford, Hannah Foss, Andrew Huettl, Parker Hummel, Tia Hummel, Nnenna Nwaigwe, Christopher Ringrose, Jace Rodacker, Griffin Schaeffer, and Madelen Wick of Minot, Black Rustad of Roseglen, Elijah Ellingson of Sherwood, and Evan Moen of Upham.

In the hymn playing event, a medium cup was earned by Olivia Redding of Minot.

Earning large cups worth 45 points or more in the piano solo event were Bethany Anderson of Harvey, Charity Dosch of Maddock, Megan Doering and Kristian Hoverson of Minot, and Grace Solemsass of Sherwood.

Earning a large cup in the hymn playing event was Lydia Hoverson of Minot.
