Home performance for a good cause

Sunday, June 10, pianist Dianna Anderson, and mezzo-soprano Gabrielle Razafinjatovo will be performing a recital celebrating love and spring, hosting a fundraiser at the same time. The two will present two musical love letters: Robert Schumann’s “Fantasie, Op. 17” for a piano solo and Gabriel Faure’s song cycle “La Bonne Chanson.”

The event will take place at the Erik and Dianna Anderson residence at 428 Homestead Road NW. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for students, or a pledge of two hours volunteer service to Friends of the Souris River or Friends of the Souris Loop Refuges, with all proceeds benefiting these two groups.

The evening will begin with a social at 7 p.m., with the recital beginning at 7:30 p.m. At intermission, representatives from the two beneficiaries will talk about their missions. As seating is limited in this intimate setting, reservations are encouraged. Contact Dianna Anderson at dianna.anderson@minotstateu.edu for information or to reserve a seat.
