Minot man faces drug-related charges

Jared McCauley, 42, Minot was arrested by Minot police Thursday for possession of meth-amphetamine with intent to deliver.
Minot Police Department officers initiated a traffic stop in the 100 block of 11th Avenue NW at 11:42 p.m. During the stop the driver and the passenger were identified. In checking on passenger Jared McCauley, officers learned he had an outstanding warrant through Minot Municipal Court.
McCauley was arrested and during a search prior to transport to the Ward County Jail, several bags containing methamphetamine were found in his pockets. About 12 grams of meth was taken off McCauley as well as a scale and drug paraphernalia.
McCauley was charged with possession of meth with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia – other than marijuana, as well as his outstanding warrant.
