Minot Optimists support Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports

Members of the Minot Optimist Club will present a check to Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports to benefit their ice program.

The club raised money and accessed grants and came up with $15,100 to help Prairie Grit get its start. The money was used to buy hockey sleds, the most expensive and critical pieces of equipment used by the athletes.

The check presentation will be Monday night at the Pepsi Rink in Maysa Arena. Prairie Grit athletes will demonstrate their skills during period breaks at the Minot Minotauros vs. MSU Beaver Hockey game.
