Minot teen charged with dealing ecstasy
An 18-year-old Minot man already facing a slew of charges is now facing two more drug-related felonies.
Noah Figliolino made an initial appearance in North Central District Court Monday on two Class B felony charges of unlawful delivery of ecstasy.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Figliolino sold five ecstasy tablets for $100 to a criminal informant working for the Ward County Narcotics Drug Task Force on April 28. The deal took place in the Arrowhead Shopping Center parking lot. Police say Figliolino then sold 10 ecstasy capsules to the same drug informant for $150 in the parking lot at Ace Hardware on May 2.
Figliolino said in court earlier this summer that he missed his high school graduation from Minot High School in May because he was in jail on other drug related felony charges.
He allegedly sold the ecstasy tablets before he was arrested on those charges. Figliolino said in court on Monday that he has been complying with all the conditions of his bond, including twice weekly urine testing, and wants to stay out of jail so he can be productive and put money toward his court costs. Judge Todd Cresap set bond at $7,000, with a requirement that Figliolino post 10 percent. Cresap said the $500 bond that Figliolino paid on the earlier charges can be applied to the bond for the most recent charges. That means Figliolino only has to come up with an additional $200.
“Thank you,” said Figliolino, who said he is saving money for school and is interested in becoming a personal trainer.
He is facing up to 20 years if he is convicted of the most recent charges. He could face more than 20 years in prison if convicted of the other charges, which include three Class C felony theft of property charges and one Class C felony count of possession of a controlled substance, as well as two Class A misdemeanors.
