1 min read

Unofficial results show North Dakota voters leaning toward rejecting two constitutional measures on the Nov. 3 ballot.

Measure One, which would change the threshold for voter passage of constitutional measures from 50% to 60%, gained 96,433 votes in support, or 43.8%, compared to 123,715 votes in opposition, or 56.2%.

Measure Two, which would have changed the constitution to require the state fund breakfast and lunch for all students, was failing with 107,574 votes or 48,49% in support, and 114,293 or 51.51% opposed.

The totals reflected 324 of 358 precincts counted at about 11 p.m.
