Minot City Council
When: Monday, 5:30 p.m.
Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, 10 3rd Ave. SW
Agenda: The council will adopt a 2027 preliminary budget and pay plan and set public hearing dates. It will consider the report of the planning commission and hold public hearings on ordinance changes. It will consider a contract with Trinity for use of a warehouse for a city pound, signing of the final document on the Superfund site, police station remodel, a pop-up pet licensing event and Third Street Bridge Repair engineering contract.

Ward County Park Board
When: Tuesday, 8 a.m.
Where: Ward County Administration Building, Commissioners Chambers
Agenda: The board will receive an update on the parks and grants, discuss the storage garage at Old Settlers Park, future park improvement projects, kayak launch and trail near Logan, and a memorial request at Talbott's disc golf course.
How to make your opinion known: Meetings are open to the public. Board members are Chairman Marvin Baker, Jason Olson, Miranda Schuler, John Fjeldahl, Ron Merritt, Jim Rostad and Darrell Olson.
Ward County Commission
When: Tuesday, 9 a.m.
Where: Ward County Administration Building, commission chambers
Agenda: The commission will review the 2027 preliminary budget. It will act on conditional use permits for gravel pits and juvenile detention joint power agreements and contacts for boarding inmates with other counties. The commission will receive an update from the Souris River Joint Board. Members will meet in executive session to discuss an offer on the County North property.
How to make your opinion known: Meetings are open to the public with the exception of executive sessions. Members are Chairman John Fjeldahl, Miranda Schuler, Jim Rostad, Ron Merritt and Jason Olson.
Minot Public School Board
When: Wednesday, 5 p.m.
Where: Administration Building, board room
Agenda: The board will discuss the 2026-27 budget and tax levy, consider the animals in the classroom policy, request approval for the Adult Education Grant and hear from the homeless and foster care liaisons.
