Minot City Council

Agenda: The council will consider a proposal to contract with a new recycling processor. It will consider ordinance updates to modernize and clarify nuisance regulations; support for federal grant applications by Trinity to construct a new mental health facility and by Rail Modal Group for track expansion at the intermodal facility; two proposals for animal pound services; and a facade improvement grant request from Minot Housing Authority. The council will act to adopt an ordinance approved by voters for a half percent sales tax for Minot Park District.

Ward County Commission

Where: Ward County Administration Building, commission chambers

Agenda: The commission will discuss bookmobile replacement, emergency declaration for the City of Sawyer, a meeting room request, letter of support for retaining current complement of district judgeships and special event permits at State Fair locations.

Minot Park Board

Agenda: The board will hold a retreat to discuss drafting of the 2027 budget.

MAGIC Fund Screening Committee

Agenda: The committee will consider requests for funds from Souris Basin Planning Council for the Business Accelerator Fund and Minot State University for the Innovation Engineering program..

Ward County Planning Commission

Agenda: The commission will consider tabled item on Basin Electric’s request to repower wind turbines. Hearings will be held on Gravel Products’ applications for a permit for mining in Hilton and Kirkelie townships.The commission will consider request for outlot plats in Iota Flat and Cameron townships and an animal feedlot in Surrey Township.
