Minot City Council

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, 10 3rd Ave. SW

Agenda: The council will consider rejecting grants for school sidewalk projects due to lack of local matching funds, adoption of the 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Plan, a bid award on an airfield ditch stabilization project, creating audio recordings of municipal court, replacing the police department’s handguns, second reading on an ordinance on rules of order for meetings, a contract with Goettle Law as assistant attorney for legislative matters, a budget amendment to fund the MSU police apprentice program, HVAC repair in the Engineering Department, Perkett Ditch repairs and replacement of K9 squad car emergency/automatic door poppers to allow K9 operators ready access to their canine partners.

Ward County Commission

When:. Tuesday, 9 a.m.

Where: Ward County Administration Building, commission chambers

Agenda: The commission will consider a bid for County Road 14 sliver widening, a highway access management plan and policy, 2027 health insurance budget update, cancel sale of Rice Lake property, board openings and the WBI Energy natural gas pipeline project.

Minot Park Board

When: Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.

Where: Minot Municipal Auditorium, Community Room

Agenda: The board will discuss surplus equipment and Maysa rates and receive an update on the flood protection project and the Minot Pickleball Association’s request to add on to the Cameron Tennis Center.

Minot Park Board

When: Wednesday, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Where: Oak Park

Agenda: The park board will host the “The More You Know” informational event regarding a proposed sales tax on the June 9 city ballot. Community members can stop by at any time during the open house event to review plans and have conversations with Minot Park District board members and staff.
