Agenda: The council will meet in executive session to discuss a potential land purchase on Mulberry Loop Northeast. It will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. The agenda includes trash collection and water fees, sidewalk assessment fees, facade program changes, the 2026 signal painting project, contract update with Hairball Haven, contract with TPMA for economic development data services and Third Street and Central Avenue reconstruction alternatives.
How to make your opinion known: Except for executive sessions, meetings are open to the public. Council members are Mayor Mark Jantzer, Lisa Olson, Paul Pitner, Mike Hayes, Rob Fuller, Mike Blessum and Scott Samuelson.
Ward County Commission
When: Tuesday, 9 a.m.
Where: Ward County Administration Building, commission chambers
Agenda: The commission will hold a public hearing on the updated Ward County floodplain ordinance. It will hear from the Western Dakota Energy Association and discuss Mandan Township assessment notices, agriculture land valuations, County Road 15 paving, countywide crack seal and seal coat project, bridge replacements, a hunting request, a Homeland Security Grant Program for additional election security and township general fund balance certification. An executive session will be held on a lease offer for the administration building fourth floor and price review and reconsideration of an offer on the County North building.
