Ward County Commission

Where: Ward County Administration Building, commission chambers

Agenda: The commission will receive an update from the Souris River Joint Board. It will discuss the temporary dog shelter agreement with the City of Minot, a 2024 Department of Justice rule on ADA digital accessibility, a draft of a resolution on agricultural land taxable valuations, employee holiday policy, a federal BUILD planning grant and sale of a Kenmare property.

Minot City Council

When: Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, 10 3rd Ave. SW

Agenda: The council will discuss M&S Concessions license revocation for The Tracks, an easement vacation in Gold Nugget Addition, an architectural contract for remodel of the police station, hiring a special counsel to assist with the Big M TIF agreement, a proposal to provide economic development data services and transfer of code enforcement to the police department from the community development department. The council will consider adopting the MI-8/9 alignment in the flood project and an 83 Bypass expressway policy.

Minot Park Board

When: Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.

Where: Minot Municipal Auditorium, Community Room

Agenda: The board will discuss Minot Junior Golf shelter, canopy at Roosevelt Park Zoo and capital projects bid results. It also will receive an update on the flood protection project.

Ward County Planning Commission

When: Thursday, 7 p.m.

Where: Ward County Administrative Building, Room 108

Agenda: The commission will consider an outlot plat in Rolling Green Township. It will consider notification from Basin Electric regarding its intent to pursue repowering 80 turbines in the Prairie Winds project to increase maximum output capacity. It will consider correspondence on possible projects for a battery energy storage system and a fiber-optic in-line amplifier (ILA) shelter. The commission will discuss fee changes and ordinance amendments.
