Minot City Council

When: Monday, 4:45 p.m.

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, 10 3rd Ave. SW

Agenda: The council will meet in executive session to discuss a potential land purchase and eminent domain involving the Moose Lodge. At 5:30 p.m., the council will convene in open session to discuss the 16th Street Southwest reconstruction project and an automatic door requirement ordinance. The council will hold public hearings on the Renaissance Zone Development Plan and a house moving request and consider taxi fares, painted bump-outs at E. Central and 1st Street and an alley speed limit. The council will hear presentations on the CDBG Consolidated Plan, Milton Young Towers renovation completion and the 2025-29 Capital Improvement Plan.

Minot Planning Commission

When: Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, 10 3rd Ave. SW, or City of Minot’s YouTube channel

Agenda: JPW Ventures is requesting a permit to erect a fence around storage units at at 1830 16th St. SW. The commission will consider a permit request to facilitate an accessory building on a vacant residential lot near Roosevelt Park, a zone change to allow conversion of a fourplex to three units at 301 Hillcrest Dr. and a variance for Popeyes to grant relief from buffer yard requirements and street landscaping and site landscaping requirements.

Ward County Commission

When: Tuesday, 9 a.m.

Where: Ward County Administration Building, commission chambers

Agenda: The commission will discuss the coroner position, planning and zoning requests and highway maintenance projects.
