Agenda: The commission will consider requests for employee housing behind Behm’s Truck Stop, variances in connection with a Bourgault expansion, a temporary variance to a screening requirement by Moure Equipment, expansion of the FedEx building at the airport, a plan review for Perkett and Edison Elementary additions, a retail development at 37th Avenue and 16th Street Southwest, a zone change to renovate a farm house to a retail boutique west of Minot along the bypass, a variance to screening requirements for Swanston Equipment to display equipment and relocation of an ice rink near Perkett School. Sundre Sand & Gravel is requesting a permit to reopen a gravel pit in Whispering Meadows, southeast of Minot.

Minot Public School Board

Where: Board room, Minot Public School District Administration Building.

Agenda: The board will elect new board officers, approve appointment of legal council and people who have signature authority for federal grant programs. The board will also discuss grants, including funding for Title I look-alike programs at Bell, North Plains and Memorial elementaries. They will designate depositories, an official newspaper for the school district and the day and time of regular school board meetings for the upcoming year. They will also approve the budget on first reading.
