The Spot hosts pop-up and food trucks

Mobile boutique, Juneberry Avenue, holds pop-up

Submitted Photo Juneberry Avenue works to offer fashionable items for all ages and a variety of sizes, offering clothes from small to 3X. They have a mobile store that travels to new locations every weekend and will soon be launching an online store.

Head towards The Spot in downtown Minot Saturday for some shopping at a new mobile boutique and some snacks from local food trucks. The pop-up boutique event will start at 11 a.m. and run until 3 p.m.

Juneberry Avenue is a new mobile boutique that does events, pop-ups like Saturday’s event and private parties. The boutique was started by Renae Jespersen in February of this year.

“I have always wanted to have my boutique where I could handpick what I wanted to sell,” said Jespersen. “I just needed to get my husband on board.”

Jespersen’s husband, Daren, was completely supportive and the two work hard together to make decisions.

The boutique sets up somewhere different every weekend, travelling within the state of North Dakota to different locations. Jespersen does say though that they could start travelling farther soon since they have received invites to events in South Dakota and Montana.

Juneberry Avenue sells women’s clothing, sizes small to 3X, and accessories such as jewelry, scarves and some gifts. The boutique will soon be online and will offer unique items that won’t be in the mobile version of the boutique.

“Our goal is to try and offer our customers a fun and unique shopping experience,” said Jespersen.

She explains that she has sold stylish clothing to all ages of women and is even working hard to find curvy sizes that she is satisfied with. Customer satisfaction is what she strives for.

Juneberry Avenue will be selling clothing, shoes, jewelry, candles, bath bombs and sunglasses at Saturday’s pop-up.

The Spot has always coordinated with three food trucks to give shoppers a chance to sit-down and grab a bite to eat. Luna’s Food Wagon, Siri’s Thai Cuisine and The Scoop: Ice Cream and Eats will all be at the pop-up.
