Anderson Duo set to perform at Sibyl Center

Erik and Dianna Anderson will be performing at the Sibyl Center in Stanley Sunday starting at 3 p.m. Following the performance will be complimentary refreshments.

The Anderson Duo has been performing together since 1992, appearing throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and most recently in Shanghai, China.

Experienced teachers, performers and lecturers, the Andersons specialize in presentations that de-code the abstract language of music, clarifying architectural and expressive details for audiences of all levels of experience. Combining a passion for live music, analysis and education, the Anderson Duo takes the stage as both storytellers and artists in full command of their instruments.

They are both professors of music at Minot State University and have lived and worked in Minot since 2003. They are parents to four sons, all musicians, and enjoy making music with the family at home in diverse styles.

This recital program will include favorites from the Cello/Piano repertoire by Debussy and Beethoven, as well as music for solo cello by their eldest son, Erik Mychal Anderson.

Admission is by suggested donation of $10 at the door. For more about the Sibyl Center, go to sibylcenter.org.
