Minot Chamber Chorale presents “Spring Choral Extravaganza”

The Minot Chamber Chorale will end their 2018-19 season on April 28 with their Spring Choral Extravaganza and Ice Cream social. The concert will take place at Our Redeemers at 3 p.m. with the social to follow.

The concert will be filled with choral music including spirituals, folk songs and contemporary choral by composers such as Rene Clausen, John Rutter and Eric Whitacre.

“We all like ice cream, cake and cookies. I’m also quite sure that everyone will find something in the music that will please them as well,” said Robert Demke, the director of the Minot Chamber Chorale.

The Minot Chamber Chorale features approximately 50 voices from the Minot Area. The Spring Choral Extravaganza will also feature area high schools as special guests for the springtime musical celebration.

The Spring Choral Extravaganza is free and open to the public. A free will offering will be done to support the group’s programming.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to enjoy the ice cream social following the concert.
