President of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod to speak in Fargo

The Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, president of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming Faith in Action Mercy Conference on Oct. 27 in Fargo. This one-day event, held at Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, 7151 15th St. S., Fargo, will bring Lutherans together to re-imagine the work of the mercy in the church, according to a press release.

In addition to Harrison, featured presenters include Robert Stadler, author of “The Scientific Approach to Evolution”; as well as representatives from Orphan Grain Train, the Comfort Dog Ministry of Lutheran Church Charities, Tentmakers, LCMS International Ministries of Mercy, Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch.

Sponsored by Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, the conference is designed to equip and energize caring Christians for service to people in need. Learn and experience, first-hand, many of the ministries of mercy impacting our community, region, and world.
