The Velva Wildlife Club and Souris River Basin Longbeards will be hosting “Women in the Outdoors” on Saturday, September 25.

The event is open to women ages 14 and older who want to get hands-on experience and develop skills in outdoor activities and meet people with similar interests, all in a fun and friendly environment.

The cost for the event is $35, which includes lunch, instruction, use of all equipment, program materials, and a 1-year membership in Women in the Outdoors.
