High School bass at Spiritwood Lake

Submitted Photo Logan Bullinger, left, and Ryan Bullinger, Bismarck Century High School, claimed top honors at the North Dakota Student Angler Federation bass tournament at Spiritwood Lake on June 12. They weighed a three smallmouth bass limit of 10.24 pounds. Their catch included the biggest bass of the day, caught by Logan Bullinger, of 3.71 pounds. The team of Taggert Nissen and Jaydon Beeter, West Fargo Sheyenne High School, finished second with 6.98 pounds. Third place went to the team of Carson Dewald and Logan Staloch with 6.84 pounds. The next event on the NDSAF calendar is the state championship set for Aug. 14 on Lake Audubon.
